The Winthrop Youth Soccer travel program serves grades 3 to PG+1 (players that have graduated from high school in the last year). We are members of the Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA).
2025 Spring Travel
Season Dates (estimated): April 5 to June 1, 2025
Leagues: Boys and Girls, Grades 3 to PG1 (grade 12+1)
Schedule: Travel games will be played on Saturdays (Grades 3 to 8) or Sundays (Grades 9 to PG1). Weekly practices will be set by team coaches.
Fees: $125* per player, $200 after January 20, 2025. Fees are not to exceed $300 per family for registration, $425 for late registration. *There will be an option at checkout to pay a non-refundable deposit of $30. Credit cards will be charged the remaining balance on February 1, 2025. Full refunds for player withdrawal will not be available.
For both seasons there are approximately 4 games in town, played at Cellucci Field at the Gorman Fort Banks School and 4 games played across towns in the North Shore. Coaches conduct weekly practices. Teams will be coached by parent volunteers and community members. Cleats, shin guards, and a travel uniform are required. Purchasing information for travel uniforms will be available once your player is placed on a team.
